Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea

Martin Odegaard continued his fine goalscoring form at the start of 2026/27 as he bagged the winner as we came from behind to beat Chelsea at Emirates Stadium.

In an early test of our title credentials, a second-minute Morgan Rogers goal saw us quickly on the back foot against an impressive Blues outfit, but we responded in the 25th minute when Kai Havertz came back to haunt his former club once again.

The tables were turned five minutes after the restart when Odegaard converted a big opportunity to put us in front, and after both Emiliano Martinez and David Raya exchanged big saves, we ultimately prevailed to maintain our 100% start to the season courtesy of a big derby day win.
